Our Products
The core of TNM PRINT is book production. For our clients we produce standard binding types (V1 – V8), but we also frequently fulfil requests for completely individual book products that are very original and can attract the end customer thanks to their uniqueness. All offered products are entirely manufactured in our production facility – from printing to finishing and embellishment. This is absolutely key to ensuring production quality throughout the entire production chain and time flexibility. Our trained team of specialists is available to help select the appropriate type of processing and materials.

SADDLE-STITCHED BINDING (V1)
This is the simplest and therefore the cheapest binding, used for thinner brochures – booklets, catalogues, programmes, magazines. Sheets (usually folded sections) are inserted into each other, optionally into a cover, and stitched through the spine with wire staples.

PERFECT BINDING (V2)
Perfect binding is one of the most common binding types. The block consists of individual sheets glued into a cover. At TNM we use hotmelt adhesive, or PUR, which ensures perfect strength even with coated materials and frequent use. We'll be happy to advise which type of adhesive is more suitable for your book. We also produce V2 binding in V2z version, which is a classic perfect binding with the difference that the cover has flaps (French flaps). We also produce V2 binding with a dust jacket, which is very popular for MANGA-type books (Japanese comics).
Perfect binding is used for fiction, catalogues or manuals, where simplicity and low cost are important.

SEWN SOFT BINDING (V4)
This is a binding very similar to the V2 brochure, with the difference that the sections are first sewn into a block and then glued into the cover. The sewing step gives the brochure better opening and page turning and extends its lifespan. Compared to V2, it is stronger and more durable, suitable for more demanding use – e.g. textbooks, anthologies, dictionaries etc. We also produce V4 binding in V4z version, which is a classic sewn soft binding with the difference that the cover has flaps (French flaps).

HARDCOVER BINDING (V8)
A hardcover book is a classic – stable, durable, representative and very comfortable for readers to work with its content. A sewn block glued into hard covers opens well; the book covers, dust jacket and endpapers allow for printing or application of interesting finishing elements. Various types of materials can be used and combined in the book – paper, foil, artificial leather, cloth, etc. This binding is used for representative books, fiction, chronicles, monographs and generally books where long durability is required.

FLEXO BINDING
This is a binding that is a kind of intermediate step between soft glued binding and hardcover binding. The individual sections of the block are sewn together with thread, this block is then cased into covers just like with hardcover binding, but the covers are made of cardboard, so they are flexible like soft covers.

"SPECIAL V2 BINDING" – connected sections at the belly
This is a soft glued V2 binding, cased into the cover with the open side of the section and connected at the belly by perforation, creating a perfect binding where the end customer must separate the individual sheets of each section before use in order to browse through the book. It can serve, for example, as an "Advent book".
