Two publications from Academia Publishing House received the Josef Hlávka Award

The publication Hynais won the Josef Hlávka Award for Scholarly Literature

We are pleased to announce that the two-volume publication Hynais by art historian Marie Mžyková, published by Academia Publishing in collaboration with the KODL Gallery, has won the Josef Hlávka Prize for Scholarly Literature for 2025 in the field of social sciences.

The results of the competition were officially announced on June 22, 2026. The award is presented annually by the Czech Literary Fund Foundation in conjunction with the Josef, Marie, and Zdeňka Hlávka Foundation for outstanding scholarly publications.

The publication The Paleolithic of the Czech Lands has won the Josef Hlávka Award for scholarly literature

The book The Paleolithic of the Czech Lands, whose lead author is Jiří A. Svoboda along with a team of authors and which was published by Academia Publishing House, won the Josef Hlávka Prize for Scientific Literature for the year 2025 in the field of natural sciences.

The results of the competition were officially announced on June 22, 2026. The award is presented annually by the Czech Literary Fund Foundation in collaboration with the Josef, Marie, and Zdeňka Hlávka Foundation to recognize outstanding scientific publications.
